Maxwell is a talented quarterback who I expect to blow up on the FBS and P4 recruiting scenes this year. Because of talented upper classmen at his position Maxwell has had to wait his turn as the starting signal caller for the Yellow Jackets. That time is now. Maxwell is everything you want in a quarterback. He can make all of the throws from in the pocket or on the run. You see high level throws splattered all over his film. To go with that arm talent, he's a big-time threat to hurt you with his legs. Whether it be on designed run plays like quarterback draws or tucking it when things break down in the pocket or on the boundary, he has the speed an elusiveness to take it to the house. He plays with a calm and cool disposition that you want from your offensive leader. I'd be very surprised if Brady doesn't come out of this season with a whole lot of interest if not some FBS offers.

Maxwell has a cannon for an arm and flashed it in the Week 1 opener against Bowling Green. He is also a great dual-threat who can make plays with his legs. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound gunslinger had five touchdowns - three rushing, two passing - in just one half of play.

Maxwell put on a clinic in Perrysburg's 64-0 win over Bowling Green, scoring five total touchdowns. He showed off dual-threat ability with three rushing scores (15, 26, 27 yards) and two touchdown passes. Perrysburg's offense looks primed to be one of the most dangerous in the state with Maxwell at the helm.
